Spring is here and it’s time to air out your laundry!
The purpose of this event is for our more experienced and knowledgeable members to teach you how to pack your own reserve parachute. We have run these reserve repacks in the past and had great success in teaching a few new folks how to pack. We are hoping to expand the knowledge-base in the club. If you are looking to have your reserve repacked for you, this is not the event.
I will bring our simulators so you can hang and practice tossing your laundry prior to repacking. If you had your reserve packed at the winter event, last year, we still encourage you to come out to lend a hand to your fellow club members in packing theirs this Spring. As you may remember, a group of pilots showed up to help at the winter event who were not having theirs repacked. Let’s keep the circle of friendship going! I will encourage those being assisted to supply helpers with tacos and beer.
The event will be held in Boulder. Details below:
Where? The Studio - 3550 Frontier Ave A2, Boulder
When? Monday, April 8th at 5:30 PM
How much? The education is free, but if you pack a reserve, please bring a couple of dollars ($2-3) for supplies.
